Hi MatterSim team,

Thanks for the great work and for open-sourcing the codebase! I am wondering if there is planned support for numpy>=2? This would be greatly helpful for compatibility with other packages.

yeah this would be great. I'm struggling to provide MatterSim models on MLIP Playground due to the dependency on NumPy<2.0.0.

This is currently blocking conda-forge to release Python 3.13 compatible packages of MatterSim: conda-forge/mattersim-feedstock#6
