I've been playing with the doodle code some more. I was wondering if there is a way to get the line to pass closer to the center point when it runs through the center area.

Yes, you have to play with the Doodle parameters

DOODLE_AMPLITUDE          = 34
DOODLE_ATTRACTOR_STRENGTH = 0.048
DOODLE_DRAG               = 0.05

to change the behavior :)
