This is the fourth public release of EventLogMonitor, now at version 2.3

This version adds improved support for viewing events that do not have a message catalogue installed. By default events that are missing a catalogue or are missing from a catalogue are "patched" to improve the information shown. See the README.md for more details.

As always, there are two versions to choose from:

• a "smaller" EventLogMonitor-v2-3-without-framework.zip download that requires that you have the .NET 8 Runtime framework installed as a pre-req.
• a "larger" EventLogMonitor-v2-3-with-framework.zip download that is self-contained and does not require any pre-reqs.

Simply pick the latest version that matches your environment. The functionality of both versions is the same.

This version adds improved support for viewing events exported from other computers, including support for viewing the events in different languages to the source system. This holds even if the original event-generating application is not installed on the viewing system. See the README.md for more details.

It it is version 2.0 to distinguish it from all previous versions which were internal releases only.
