[Feat]: Ability to have the user select columns needs filtering #1983

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Letting the user turn on and off columns is interesting, but there needs to be a mechanism for not showing columns that should never be shown, like id fields.
Describe the solution you'd like
You could only show columns that were originally marked visible. Or have an additional prop for each column "User Selectable"
Describe alternatives you've considered
Not use the column selection feature and roll my own.
