Better approach when running out of space in the panel #11540

When multiple applications are open on the grouped-window-list applet or the panel is full of items, the icons of the grouped window list will start to look cropped:
Describe the solution you'd like
One of the solutions could be to make the grouped window list (or even the panel) scrollable when the panel is full. There is a video linked in the additional context section that shows how other Operating Systems handled this problem.
Describe alternatives you've considered
The alternative is to use fewer applets and pin fewer applications in the panel.
