This project uses OpenAI's GPT-4o model to generate nicknames for Pokémon sprites and stores them in a SQLite database.
- Clone this repository
- Install the required dependencies using uv:
uv sync- Create a
.envfile in the root directory with your OpenAI API key:
OPENAI_API_KEY=your_api_key_here
The application uses Typer to provide a modern command-line interface with rich output formatting:

uv run main.py export custom_output.csvThe nicknames are stored in a SQLite database (pokemon_nicknames.db by default). You can specify a different database file using the --db option:
