Context

The challenge

Introduction

Our project is a hydrophonic system that reuses water. This project aims to reduce carbon dioxide levels, through the use of renewable energy and a battery. It reduces significant water consumption of farming by reusing water that is wasted through transpiration. It is very helpful in dry areas and saves lots of water, use renewable energy which will save the planet. No soil is needed for this machine and it is idiot proof. This machine is eco-friendly and it uses solar panels usually, if it's cloudy or it's night then it will use the battery that has been charged up by the solar panels. It will also come with a remote to switch it on or off.

What it's made of

It contains 4 units that keeps the machine working. The plant growing unit, water supply unit, the power supply unit and the dehumidifier unit.

How it works

The Water gets nutrition from the nutrition pump. Then it sends the water to the plant growing unit from the pipes. The dehumidifier unit collects the moist from the transpiration from the plants. The solar panels generate power for the machine to continue running it also stores extra power for the battery.
