How to login?

As the title says, how do you login to be able to save/unsave threads? I figured everything else out, but for login all I see is the OAuth stuff, but I have no idea what to pass to it.

The best example i have for you is in the login code for Baconography

the initial method that matters is ShowOAuthBroker you can find it here https://github.com/hippiehunter/Baconography/blob/uwp/SnooStream/ViewModel/Login.cs

This code is UWP specific and I'm not really sure if you have a UI or not, If you don't have a UI there is a different oAuth flow from the reddit side but I haven't used it before.

I've been reading through it, but since I can't compile and run this thing (no Windows Phone) it's been very slow-going.

Is there really no single Login(string username, string password) function that just logs in? Because all the other things this library offers (saving, commenting, posting, voting) is worthless if you can't log in as a user isn't it?

And yes, I see the Login function from that repository (as opposed to this one) from Reddit.cs, and I brought it over into this and recompiled it, but while it seems to succeed it still doesn't do anything to set the OAuth tokens and GetIdentity still returns all nulls.

you should probably check out https://github.com/reddit-archive/reddit/wiki/OAuth2 it sounds like you're making a script app as opposed to an installed app. I've only ever made installed apps and the login flow is different if you want to just pass a username and password.
