SmsMessaging - Solution Code

App for demonstrating how to send an SMS message from within the app, and request permission to use SMS if necessary.

Introduction

This app secures permission, enables the user to enter a phone number and message, and sends the message using the phone number as the destination address.

Pre-requisites

You need to know:

  • How to open, build, and run apps with Android Studio.
  • How to create an intent.
  • How to add permissions to the AndroidManifest.xml file.

Getting Started

  1. Download the code.
  2. Open the code in Android Studio.
  3. Run the app.
