I’m Héctor, a creator first and technologist second. With 20 years in software development, I’m currently CTO & Co-founder at Nomain, but this space is where I explore, tinker, and build things that solve real problems, big or small (usually small).
My approach to learning new technology is simple: solve actual problems with it. That’s why you’ll find personal projects here that range from practical tools to small video games (mainly for my kids). I test emerging tech on these open source projects first before considering them for production use. It’s how I get a real understanding of how things work.
I’m community lead of Claude community Helsinki (you can check where is the closest to you here: Clauders) and also regularly participating in Symposium AI.
Check out some of my projects: 🏆 Rafflr, the library behind it, 🎲 shufflr (also available in Rust 🦀), and an older IoT project, 🌡️ py-temperature-recorder.
