Search term disappears unexpectedly when editing text #1508
Description
What Happened?
Often I want to edit or delete several occurrences of a search match but as soon as the first match is selected or deleted, the current search term is lost so "Find Next" no longer is possible.
Steps to Reproduce
- Search for a term occurring several times in a document
- Focus the document and perform an operation that results in a mark-set or mark-delete signal such as copy or cut operations
- Observe search term disappears from searchbar
Expected Behavior
The current search term should persist until deliberately changed by editing or activating the find action again (Control + F)
