Creating an Exif Profile

I am (besides other things) setting the Exif comment in a large bunch of JPEGs in a directory tree via

   var profile = photo.GetExifProfile();     
   profile.SetValue(ExifTag.Copyright, "CTS | crashtest-service.com GmbH");
   photo.SetProfile(profile);

There are very few JPEGs that have no Exif data, in which case I would like to create that data.
On https://stackoverflow.com/questions/24916253/create-write-exif-data-using-magick-net I found the code

  profile = new ExifProfile();
  profile.SetValue(ExifTag.Copyright, "Dirk Lemstra");
  image.AddProfile(profile);

but Magick.Net does not provide a function named 'AddProfile'.
My work-around so far is to identify the JPEGs that create the runtime error, add an Exif profile with Exiftool and try again.
Is there a better solution to it? It's no essential problem, as my workaround is practically working.

The method AddProfile has been renamed to SetProfile in one of the major releases. So you should use SetProfile in both situations. You can check if profile is null to determine if you need to create a new profile.

If I hadn't found this outdated code, I (hopefully) would have come up with the solution myself, which consists simply of one additional line:

 var profile = photo.GetExifProfile();     
 profile ??= new ExifProfile();
 profile.SetValue(ExifTag.Copyright, "CTS | crashtest-service.com GmbH");
 photo.SetProfile(profile);
