Compatability with Wordpress 5.2

Upgraded to Wordpress 5.2.2. My site works fine and can still see the Touchfolio content, but the WordPress dashboard has stopped working so I cannot make any change, add content, etc.

This is a multisite WordPress deployment and initially I had issues with some pluggins so that none of the sites worked. I have since resolved those issues so that two of the 3 sites work as before. Touchfolio has the issue above. When I manually change out the Theme to something else, everything works fine. So I believe it is an issue with the Theme itself.

I'm having the exact same issue. When I change the themes folder's name, I can access the Wordpress dashboard straight away, but when the theme is properly activated, there's just a blank page. The site works just fine though. Any ideas?

I just upgraded Wordpress from 4.9 to latest Wordpress 5.2.4 and Touchfolio works fine without any modifications. I believe that the problem you are describing is related to one of these 2 issues:

1. Fixing issue for Wordpress 4.9 #71
2. WordPress > 4.5.x compatibility #59

I had to fix both issues in Wordpress 4, if you follow the steps described in these posts you will get it running. In case you don't know how to edit PHP files in Wordpress, you could directly use this fork of Touchfolio with both issues fixed: https://github.com/geraldo/Touchfolio

So I ended up switching to a different theme, deleting the old Touchfolio theme, downloading and reinstalling Touchfolio from Github and then reactivating it. That seems to have done the trick. All back up and running..
