Upgrade electron-store

The latest version of electron-store has several features worth taking advantage of:

• Schema to validate store settings
• watch to be notified of changes across processes (!!!)

Note that it is esm only now, so this migration will only make sense if the design changes result in #157 being accomplishable as well.
