Photo module image crop for different breakpoints

Would it be possible to change the image crop for different breakpoints?

Example: I have a layout with a photo to the left of text and I want it to be landscape. But then as the viewport becomes smaller and the text next to it gets taller, I'd like it to be square. Then when it gets even smaller, I'd love to change it to 16:9.

I just realized that I brought this up in the past, but it started as a general request for more responsive controls everywhere.
