undefined symbol error in python3

I have tryed to run it from python 3 by following instructions in the readme file. However I keep obtaining the following error when trying to import from fmcd:

undefined symbol: PyCObject_Type f2py

Apparently it might be related to f2py: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/29080596/undefined-symbol-when-importing-f2py-module-using-python-3

My f2py version is 2, maybe I should be using 3, but I am not familiar with f2py, and I can't find enough information about how it relates to python 3. So, I leave this information here just in case it is usefull for someone.
