Hi, as long as you do not see it officially closed, it is open.
and you do not need permission to work on this. Just do and start a pull request. worst thing that could happen is that the PR is not merged. but this tepends on how it is solved.

I would like to have all tests at one central place for Travis to use it.
also I would like to have all test use the same lib (see other Issue #211 ).

So what shall we do here?
