Tool for extract data(both properties and geometries) from ifc file. Later using another tool I can convert ifc file to 3d-tile that can be render on Cesium.

I want a tool that can extract both the properties and geomtries data from ifc file. IFCEngine.dll is fine but C++ is not my first choose. So I choose XBim toolkits.
-
Secondly, I have already developed a tool that can convert my self-defined xml format of geometries to 3d-tiles that can be loaded on Cesium(See the showcases). So the output of this tool will be my self-defined xml format for geometries data and json for properties.
It's very simple!
- -i [Required] ifc_file_path
- -g [Optional] output geometries
- -p [Optional] output properties
- -x [Optional] tile size at x direction in meter
- -y [Optional] tile size at y direction in meter
- -z [Optional] tile size at z direction in meter
- -t [Optional] triangle number threshold for decimation
- -q [Optional] mesh decimation quality
example:
```
ifc2xml.exe -i "...\20160124OTC-Conference Center.ifc" -g -x 50 -y 50 -z 50 -q 0.01 -m 2000
```
- 20181220Holter_Tower_10.ifc(169MB -> max size of single tile is 2.03MB)
- 20181220Holter_Tower_10.ifc(67MB -> 8.48MB single tile)
- Revit sample: rac_basic_sample_project.rvt
- Limit the size of output xml files => for better performance
- Decimate mesh when the amount of triangles is too large
- Order the output geometry in xml so that each geometry in a xml file is from the same region. For better tiling to generate 3d tile.
