heiImageViewer is an image viewer for use in websites. It was developed at the Heidelberg University Library for displaying images of digitized facsimili, primarily old books and manuscripts from the library collection.

Based on Open Layers, the viewer provides the usual features like zoom and panning, and advanced features like suporposition of scalable vectors over images.
