The course comprises of two classes per week (a lecture and a seminar) and project work. The project will be chosen or created by the students themselves.

Die Studenten erwerben Kenntnisse über grundlegende Methoden, aktuelle Trends und Geschichte der Digital Humanities. Während das Seminar die Methoden, Geschichte, und Anwendungsbeispiele der Digital Humanities beschreibt und den Studenten in den Tutorien erste Schritte im Umgang mit XML-, Python- und R-Code vermittelt werden, sollen die Studenten auch ein eigenes Digital Humanites-Mikroprojekt ausarbeiten und als Projektarbeit verfolgen.
