Before you begin, ensure you have the following installed:
Follow these instructions to set up the project locally.
git clone <repository-url>
cd MilstonenenestNavigate to the backend directory and install dependencies:
cd backend
npm installConfiguration:
Create a .env file in the backend directory based on .env.example.

npm run devThe backend server will start on http://localhost:5000.
Open a new terminal, navigate to the project root (if not already there), and install dependencies:
# If you are in the backend folder, go back to root
cd ..
# Install dependencies

Ensure you have the necessary environment variables in the root .env file (e.g., for Firebase or API URLs).
Start the Frontend Development Server:
npm run devThe frontend application will be available at http://localhost:5173.
