I don´t know if this fixes your problem but maybe using jitpack.io is a good workaround. In your pom.xml add jitpack.io as repository:

<repositories>
    <repository>
        <id>jitpack.io</id>
        <url>https://jitpack.io</url>
    </repository>
</repositories>

Now you can add TrayNotification as dependency:

<dependency>
    <groupId>com.github.PlusHaze</groupId>
    <artifactId>TrayNotification</artifactId>
    <version>5393c3a54f</version>
</dependency>
