Brightness dimming during inactivity can increase the brightness

Describe the bug
The display brightness after some inactivity can be brighter than the currently set brightness, causing the screen to become bright suddenly.
This bug does not occur on the simulator, due to the fact that the "brightness" slider does nothing.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Set the brightness low
2. Wait
3. Screen should become brighter

Expected behavior
After inactivity, the screen should become darker or stay the same brightness.
