MattJamesChampion/README.md

Hello there1!

I'm Matt, sometimes known as Danny (it's a whole thing). I'm a software developer and consultant living in Guernsey!

I've been blogging for years and continue to get a lot of joy out of it even though my most popular post is about setting up a particularly frustrating printer. Posting consistently has given me an opportunity to develop my writing skills and find my voice (the one you're reading right now!) along with giving me an excuse to dive deep into the technicalities of things that "catch my interest".

Professionally I spend most of my time working with C# and .NET (in particular ASP.NET and Blazor) but my career so far has been spread across so many different different languages and frameworks that I don't see myself as a ".NET Developer" but as "a developer currently working with .NET". I've written production code in Python, Perl, Delphi and more (including a delightfully2 non-standards-compliant variant of Lisp (for a global bank of all places!)). I often use personal projects as an avenue for learning other languages and have picked up enough to get by in React, Django, Rust and C, among others.

I'm a big fan of open source and you'll find most of my own stuff MIT Licensed.

I'm on LinkedIn and am always willing to chat if you want to reach out!
