Displaying the axis of movement of a mobile measuring instrument

If the experiment has a portable measuring device.
How do you display the axis of movement (double-sided arrow?) of that measuring device as part of its "icon" (or separately)?

I think the best way now is to plot routes as polygons, and give them names.
Then, use the name as the property of the device.

However, this is a 'hack', @erasta do you have a better idea?

What you are suggesting is to essentially attach a feature to the device which is its movement. The problem is, it could be different on each experiment.
Maybe we should draw a polygon/polyline, and leave the drawing on the map (as you continue, the lines disappear), and then attach the device to it.

If you want I can add a "special" attribute for direction, like location, that when used (per definition on the device type?) will show an arrow. This should be similar to how we show wind direction on ims or how we showed on thingsboard.

changed the interface for shapes on the tree to include shape type and draw button
