Hey!
Just wanted to say — thank you so much for this project. As a
Windows user who's been waiting for official Codex support, this
genuinely made my day when I found it. Really appreciate the work
you put into making this cross-platform.
One thing I noticed was some lag when Codex spits out really long
code blocks, so I ended up writing a patch script to help with that.
It adds stuff like:
- GPU rasterization + background throttling fixes via Chromium flags
- CSS containment hints on code blocks
It plugs right into your existing patch pipeline and can be turned
off with CODEX_DESKTOP_PERF=0 if anything breaks.
Would love to open a PR if you're open to it! Either way, just
wanted to say thanks — this project matters for a lot of Windows
users who got left out
