Hand Pass is an easy way to make and present QR Codes for other people to scan. You can use QR Codes to share specific information and trigger actions on the scanning device. Hand Pass aims to be an accessible, reliable and cross-platform way to exchange information in person.
Hand Pass is designed to be used from your phone’s Home Screen for quick access. If you want to use Hand Pass, the easiest way is to visit https://handpass.app/ and install it. The next time you want to give your contact information, social media profile or website to someone in person, try using Hand Pass.
Hand Pass is developed as a Progressive Web App (PWA). The source code for Hand Pass available in this repository and is hosted at https://main.handpass.app/. Mobile app versions of Hand Pass for iOS and Android were built using https://www.pwabuilder.com/
Hand Pass uses the excellent QR Code generator library from @nayuki. The live demo in particular is incredibly useful for building an intuition for how QR Codes work.
