Applying .ICO files

With QuickFlair

QuickFlair is a sister project designed for windows that makes it much easier to apply .ico files to any folder. It also comes preinstalled with basic colors that you can use quickly.

Without QuickFlair

Before proceeding make sure your .ICO file is saved somewhere that is safe. The folder will link itself to that file location and won't update when moved or deleted.

  1. Right click your folder of choice
  2. Click Properties
  3. Go to the Customize tab
  4. Click Change Icon...
  5. Click the Browse... button
  6. Navigate and select your .ICO file
  7. Click Ok to both windows to save and close

Quick Start

  1. Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/EthanHazel/flaredfolders.git
  1. Install dependencies:
npm install
  1. Start development server:
npm run dev
