Feature Request: Emulator's ROMs support

I would like to ask if there is possibility for supporting ROMs for emulators giving then possibility to auto check the ROMs that I have and downloading them and put them in the correct folder for my emulators on my Linux Server.

That would be a great addition I would say, dunno how to implement indexer in that case as surely some roms can be found on torrent sites, but most of them are in normal website with direct download, but generally speaking having the possibility to implement this would be great for generally speaking managing, aside the games installed, also the emulator ROMs.

Additional context
As some game boxes of some old games could have some weird aspect ratio maybe I suggest to add SteamGridDB to fetch normal game boxes for these older games.

So today, the files you see when searching for a game depend only on the categories you use on your indexers. That means ROMs would be available if they are on the indexers and the categories are right.
Then it's the matter of being able to add ROM specialized websites (with no API) as indexers.

Regarding the "downloading" part, since it is handled by the downloader you configure, it could be possible to configure it directly to handle the ROMs and saving it in the folder you want. But I think we'll need to set-up some download rule engine to e.G say if download comes from indexer X, it should be added with label Y

I had actually started following this project under the assumption it did support ROMs but I use Deluge as my downloader and was going to submit an enhancement request for that. However, seeing this, I think it's more important this be addressed first.

My expectations are as @SpaceFrags suggested. Similar to how Radarr or Sonarr work, we should be able to add games to our library and either manually search for them across indexers or have Questarr do the searching for us. Then Questarr would automatically import the ROM into the proper folder depending on the game console/system.

I use the Romm project to manage my library and play ROMs currently so having something like this to download the ROMs I'm missing and load them into the proper folder for Romm to pick up would really complement the existing system.
