What is your proposed solution?
Sync with scroll (scrubbing) and replay/reverse (mirroring) are both lightweight.
It would be great to implement into the Blocks Animation plugin, as it is What the name of the WordPress plugin suggests with CSS Animations for Gutenberg Blocks.
