I'm currently a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of Utah, advised by Dr. Mary Hall. My research interests lie in HPC, Machine Learning Systems, and Compilers.
Previously:
- ๐ง Machine Learning Research Engineer at Huawei
- ๐ Undergraduate at University of Toronto (Honours B.Sc. with Distinction in CS and Math, 2022)
- ๐งช I enjoy working on systems-level software, compilers, and numerical programming.
- โจ Built a Path and Ray Tracer while self-learning computer graphics.
- ๐ Strongly recommend Physically Based Rendering if you're interested in rendering.
- ๐ ๏ธ I love writing C and building low-level infrastructure tools.
- ๐ฅ๏ธ I run Vancouver Web Studio
- ๐ I offer tutoring for Kโ12 and undergraduate CS students, especially in systems topics.

Previously, I interned at Shopify and BlackBerry through UofT's co-op program.
I grew up in Richmond, BC ๐จ๐ฆ and attended:
Despite struggling academically in early years (yes, straight C's in Grade 4!), I found my stride in math, physics, and computing later on. I've always been quiet, but persistent.

I believe in owning your space on the internet, not relying on social media. So, you'll rarely find me on Instagram, X, or anywhere else. I'm early Gen Z (born 1998), but I like building websites more than browsing them.
