BrainGrid is a powerful extension that helps you discover and utilize AI-powered rules in your development environment. These rules are designed to enhance your coding experience by providing intelligent, context-aware assistance tailored to your projects.

• Cursor IDE - This extension is designed exclusively for Cursor IDE
• Cursor IDE version 1.85.0 or higher

1. Open Cursor
2. Click the Extensions icon in the sidebar (or press Cmd+Shift+X on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+X on Windows/Linux)
3. Search for "BrainGridAI"
4. Click "Install"

1. Download the latest .vsix file from the latest release
2. In Cursor IDE, press Cmd+Shift+P on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows/Linux
3. Type: "Extensions: Install from VSIX..."
4. Choose the downloaded .vsix file

1. Open the BrainGrid sidebar (look for the brain icon in the activity bar)
2. Browse or search for community rules that match your development needs
3. Click on a rule to view its detailed description and use cases
4. Click "Install" to add the rule to your project

To access private rules, team rules, and other advanced features:

1. Create an account at app.braingrid.ai
2. Click the login button in the BrainGrid sidebar
3. Connect your account to unlock additional features

Once you've created an account and logged in through the extension, you'll have access to:

• Private Rules: Create and manage your own custom rules
• Team Rules: Access and collaborate on rules shared with your team
• Rule Collections: Organize rules into custom collections

Note: An account is not required to browse and install community rules. Account creation is only needed for accessing private and team features.

We value your privacy. The extension collects minimal installation data to help us improve the service:

• Machine ID (provided by VS Code)
• VS Code version
• Extension version
• Operating system information

This data is:

• Collected only once per machine
• Anonymous and contains no personal information
• Used solely for understanding extension usage and improving our service
• Never shared with third parties

If you encounter any issues:

1. Check the Output panel in VS Code:
   • View → Output (or Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + U)
   • Select "BrainGrid Extension" from the dropdown
2. Ensure you have a workspace open before installing rules
3. Verify your internet connection if rules fail to load
