The current documentation is about "Mixer Scenes" https://manual.ardour.org/mixing/mixer-scenes/

I'm sorry, I don't understand why you are changing this. The same set of shortcuts does a different thing in different context. When you are in Editor window, it applies to editor views. When you are in the Mixer window, it applies to mixer scenes. Why replace one with the other?

Because the documentation has a page about "Mixer Scenes" where the shortcuts are mentioned.
Nothing about "Editor View" (I just searched the documentation. It is mentioned in 4 html pages. But Save/Restore function is not associated with the term "Editor View". )
I did not realize that it could be called both. I still think it would be more coherent to call it "Mixer Scene".
(At first, starting with the shortcut, I thought it was just about the display, the "View". It is only after reading the doc I understood the parameters and values were stored in the "View". The term "Scene" reflects more of a "state" than just a "view" to me)
