Internet fails to work when network is changing from wifi to mobile data on some networks

I'm facing an issue causing internet failing to work when my Network is changing from wifi to mobile data (e.g. when I move outside of my wifi network). Restarting AdGuard resolves the issue (until the next network change).

Expected Behavior

Internet access should be active at all times when network change from wifi to mobile data e.g. due to poor wifi signal, without the need to restart AdGuard.

Actual Behavior

internet failing to work when my Network is changing from wifi to mobile data (e.g. when I move outside of my wifi network). Restarting AdGuard resolves the issue (until the next network change). I'm able to reproduce it every time.

Additional Information

I will send debug logs to devteam@adguard.com in a minute. Recorded at around 18:28 27.10.2022.

Same thing here on an Android 12, OnePlus 2 with Adguard 3.6.10. according to the filter logs, the DNS lookups fail until I restart Adguard.

@Tornhoof @nastavoi @floxigen is AdGuard VPN installed with kill switch setting? This behavior happens with this setting. I've checked, but I don't have this behavior repeated, everything works correctly.

To troubleshoot this issue, we need to get additional logs.

Here's what we need you to do:

• Collect the debug log as it's explained here;
• Remember the exact time when the issue was reproduced. We will need it to find the corresponding records in the log file;
• Additionally, capture the system bug report after reproducing the issue. Here's the instruction;
• Send both files to devteam@adguard.com. Mention the Github issue number and the exact time when the issue was reproduced.

It is also a good idea to export your AdGuard settings and attach them to an email

I've sent all the data to devteam@adguard.com. The issue was recorded at around 17:39-17:41.

I don't use any VPN software. Like I've said earlier, I can reproduce the issue every time - when AG is turned on and I leave my wifi network so that the phone will switch to mobile data, apps can't reach the internet, until I restart AG.

I have also had this issue for a long time on my samsung smartphone but never reported it. When I go out of the house and in my car and drive away, as soon as the network switches from WiFi to Mobile Data the internet stops working, I notice that because I run spotify when I sit in my car when I am still on Wifi then when It switches to mobile data the songs stop playing. Then I have to turn off adguard and turn it back on or even turn mobile data off and on sometimes for it to work again.

It seems that this issue also is caused with S. Korean mobile network environment.

For now you can try to choose another DNS. Try AdGuard DNS Regular or Non-Filtering Regular. That might help

@maxikuzmin do you mean 4.0 stable when its released or nightly? I'm on 4.0 nightly right now.
