🚀 The feature

Change: Award badges for milestones: "Hosted 5 Rooms," "100 Listeners," "Storyteller."

Motivation, pitch

Tech: Store these as an array of strings in the User's Appwrite document and render icons next to their name in the room.

As an aspiring GSOC' 26 contributor, I want to work on this issue to improve Resonate, an AOSSIE project.

Hey @aliviahossain , while this does sound like a cool feature, could you please share visual mockups of how this would look on the different screens? Also a tentative list of all such potential badges would be great. Before going forward with this issue I think we should make sure this doesn't cause feature bloat

Proposed Badge Structure :
I propose a streamlined badge system where users unlock a unique badge for reaching a specific milestone in each core feature area.

1. The Anchor :

Trigger: Hosted 5 Rooms.
Purpose: Incentivizes users to utilize the LiveKit room creation feature.
Visual: A classic Microphone icon.

2. The Storyteller :

Trigger: Published 1 Story (with chapters).
Purpose: Encourages content creation in the asynchronous "Stories" catalog.
Visual: An Open Book or Quill icon.

3. Crowd Favorite :

Trigger: Accumulate 100 total listeners across all hosted rooms/stories.
Purpose: Rewards reach and popularity.
Visual: A Star or Group icon.

4. The Conversationalist :

Trigger: Completed 10 Pair Chats.
Purpose: Drives usage of the random partner/networking feature.
Visual: Two Chat Bubbles icon.

5. Audiophile :

Trigger: Listened to content (Rooms or Stories) for 10 hours.
Purpose: Rewards platform retention and time-spent.
Visual: Headphones icon.

For now this is my proposed strategy, we will upscale them in the future with more variety of badges. Also badges colour will be selected keeping in mind that it should look visually appealing in every theme.

Technical Implementation: Badges are stored as a simple string array in the user's Appwrite document (e.g., ['ANCHOR', 'STORYTELLER']). This keeps the database lightweight and easy to query for UI rendering.

@M4dhav Sir, as I had mentioned earlier, I have updated a few files and 2 more files need to be updated for full integration of the badges below the username in the user profile. I have created and shared the badge images above. Also, Sir it is my first time contributing in a repo which is part of the great, GSoC. I would be really grateful, if you could guide me more.
