Add External Social Media Links to Profile Screen

🚀 The feature

in profile screen we are only showing basic information of a user(like name,username etc) how about we can also lets a user to add his/her
social media links similar to apps like discord ,twitter ,instagram Display social media icons/buttons on the profile screen that open the corresponding external links.
we can also make sure that only valid URLs are accepted.for this we also have to update backend with a additional url field
we will modify the Profile Screen UI in Flutter to display clickable icons for the supported social media platforms.

Motivation, pitch

i would like users to be able to link their external social media accounts (such as Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to their profile.Currently, profiles only display basic information, which limits user connectivity and engagement.y adding social media links, users can share their other platforms, making profiles more interactive

• a video regarding how the feature will get stored in the database and how it will work completely

@M4dhav please assign this to me........ for this we will have to update backend as well with one field containing the string of the url and in the profile screen i think a button / iconbutton / or just plain link like we see in discord or
twitter should work isnt ....what you think about this feature?

This sounds like a good idea, but please ensure that it doesn't cause clutter in anyway. Please share a sample of the visual look of the page before opening a PR. I would prefer Icon Buttons with just the platform icons.

@M4dhav please tell me how the icon buttons looks in the first picture i used a package called icons_plus for making social media icons and then added gesture detector to that icon where we will handle functioning of button like senting the user to corresponding link like instagram account ,gitlab etc

Please share a picture of the entire screen to show how it will look with this addition. Also, I don't think we need to show these when a user is opening his own profile. I like the rounded circle button approach better where the social media icons are in the center of the button.

ok by this do you mean the 2nd pic right where there is a profile of facebook as well?

yes, to reduce clutter
