Security Policy for REDACT

Latest stable version of REDACT is available. Ensure you're using the most recent release for optimal security.

Reporting a Vulnerability

REDACT prioritizes the security and privacy of user data. If you discover a vulnerability, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Privately.

    • Send an email to aneesh.sp222@gmail.com with:
      • A clear description of issue.
      • Steps to reproduce the vulnerability.
      • Any potential impact or exploits.
      • (optional) Proposed fixes or patches.
  2. Response Time.

    • Will acknowledge your report within 1 week and provide updates on new mitigation plan.
  3. Resolution.

    • Once the issue is resolved, you'll be notified and updated on report progress.

Security Measures in REDACT

  • Privacy-First Design: User data is secured using DMZ isolation, 2FA, and end-to-end encryption (in-transit and at rest).
  • Continuous Training: Sensitive data redacted by the system is securely anonymized and incorporated into training data to ML model for enhanced accuracy.
  • File Formats Supported: Secure handling for a variety of file types, including text, images, audio, and PDFs.
