Our Mission
New work a new way.
We are creatives navigating the shifting landscape of education, theatre and the arts.
The stories we create are original. They are crafted through interaction with students and young adults attempting to navigate the world and return home with their compassion and character intact. Our stories tackle issues of humanity, social justice, isolation & community. We are fierce advocates for equity even when our works aren’t nakedly political. Our stories are largely villainless. And even when we’re writing of floods, tornadoes, or abandonment, we believe we have an obligation to the idea of hope.
We will be sharing:
new plays
new music
new musicals
new monologues
materials for the classroom
community
a fundamental passion that arts saves lives & can change the world
“The great work begins…”
Who are we?
Between us, we have over six decades of experience creating theatre across the country. We have been actors, musical theatre performers, playwrights, composers, producers and educators. We have written five musicals and two plays as collaborators, and have created dozens of works independently. But our most important qualification for doing this work is that we carry the joys, disappointments, magic and wounds of childhood and young adulthood with us to this day.
We were named Finalists for the Jonathan Larson Grant for visionaries in Musical Theatre and hold MFAs.
