about the author:

Earica “EP” Parrish, M.A. is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice centers empathy, presence, and relational storytelling. Rooted in Black feminist thought and shaped by global study, her work explores the intersections of people, place, and community. Her work merges visual poetry with participatory engagement, honoring memory, fostering kinship, and creating space for reflection, connection, and the poetics of everyday life.
