Design Tutor with growing experience in HE teaching and 5 years’ experience in industry interested in the relationship between academia and practice, innovative technologies centered around AI Design and the application of Visual Literacies in an Academic design studio.
Recently, I have taught first year architecture students on an intensive course which aims to rapidly instil them with design skills, confidence in presenting their work and a growing passion for design. In addition to teaching, I had been heavily involved in the coordination of the course, taking a key role in developing and writing the course for the next academic year. Alongside this role I have been working with students at Master’s level in representation and visual communication, and in my latest role with Kingston University I will further establish this work as a key part of an undergraduate course.
