API Data Handling

Text submitted to our API for sentiment analysis is processed in real-time and is not permanently stored or saved. Your API submissions are analyzed, a response is returned, and the submitted content is immediately discarded. We do not use your API submissions to train our models or share them with third parties.
- No Permanent Storage: API request content is never written to our databases or persistent storage
- API request text is processed for sentiment analysis only and discarded after processing
- Results may be temporarily cached in memory for performance (TTL-based expiration)
- We log API metadata (endpoints, timestamps, response codes) but never the actual text content of your requests
- Your submitted text remains your property and is not retained, analyzed, or used for any purpose beyond the immediate API response
- Enterprise customers can request on-premise deployment for additional data sovereignty requirements
User Content & Research
When you post content on the Service (including posts, comments, and discussions), this content may be used as described in our Terms of Service:
- Platform Display: Your posts are displayed on the platform and may be visible to other users according to your privacy settings.
- API & Data Products: User-generated content may be made available through our APIs or data products, including aggregated sentiment feeds and discussion streams.
- Research & Development: We may use content to improve our services, develop new features, train models, and conduct internal research and analysis.
- Anonymized Data: We may create and use anonymized or aggregated datasets derived from user content for analytical and research purposes.
You retain ownership of your content, but by posting it, you grant us the licenses described in our Terms of Service necessary to operate and improve the platform.
