I have the sms registration complete and approved.  How do I send a message using the templates?

Trying to setup the page extension in the Basic Settings with the info given by Ring Central.  I keep getting no reply from server under the SIP Registration under Status.  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. The 8301 is only going to be used for overhead paging only.

We will be using our own non-provisioned phones, the Poly Rove40’s.  Our main number will be ported over to Ring Central on Tuesday (1/27) at 10 am CST.  This is in the middle of our busy time.  Can I provision the phones ahead of time (a day or two ahead of time) to where I can just unplug our old phones and plug in our new phones once we get confirmation of a successful port, and not miss any calls?

Hi I have a couple of agents who primarily make outbound calls, each time they complete one they are put back into an Available state, regardless of the state they were in prior to making the call. Is it possible to create an agent state that will remain active while they make outbound calls?

When one person in our office answers a call, their notes automatically begin taking notes as intended. When they either transfer that call to another person in the office or place the call on hold and another person picks it up, the second person to accept that call is unable to start taking notes. Is there any way to resolve this issue? 

I want 1 person from the IT team to be able to manage my RingCentral line without having to have a phone line, he does not need any calls, video or anything else. Only requirement is SuperAdmin to be able to configure users with lines, order phone and lines, etc. He manages all of this for me as I am busy and I don’t understand technology.

for the last 36 hours I have been unable to send text messages to my customers.  My case has been escalated twice.  I finally asked for a supervisor and I was told that this is an issue with the "carrier"  Has anyone else had this issue?  How many tiers are there when it comes to customer service?    I keep getting this message after every attempt to send a text:  Sorry, we're having trouble sending your message. Please try again.

During that time, we have submitted the registration form multiple times and have been charged for every resubmission. We have a phone and extension that is a main incoming call line.  The prior user is no longer with us, and a new staff is sitting at that phone.  How do I transfer the extension and phone to the new staff without disrupting incoming call flow?

I just jumped into the RC admin portal to check something and was presented with a pop-up alert stating “One or more devices on your account pose a security risk” and goes on about something being end-of-life and posing a security risk. OK, that seems possible. Then, the message says “To determine if your device is affected...”So, do I have such a device, or don’t I? You just told me I did, now you want me to figure it out. The provided link uselessly drops me at the support home page and in no way helps me determine if I have EoL devices, which the pop-up says I have/might have. So many questions.

Is there any future path for RC App Connect to be used on a mobile device?

As of today, the author on call notes is no longer consistently logging correctly. Many of the call logs are being set as the admin user and not the correct end user. No settings have changed, as before it was working consistently. Any idea on how to correct this?

Multiple users cant get the Google chrome extension to load up. I’ve Tried:removing and readding extensionclearing chrome cookies and datauninstall main ringcentral app and re install then readd extensionupdating settings, restarting computer, readd extension Is this a known issue or something i maybe missing on my end?

Hi, Is there a way to easily see the data for which phone numbers were dialed/called for a time period? We have several numbers we use for different marketing. Don’t see anywhere that we can break down how many calls were dialed to each. (these are extra $5 local numbers)Thanks

We’ve had multiple users set up using RC Connect for NetSuite for months and it’s been working fine. All of the sudden today, users cannot connect. Users who were already logged in this morning are okay, but as soon as they log out it wont log them back in. On the browser app extension, they are “logged in” and able to make calls; however, in the settings on the browser app, it warns them to “connect to NetSuite”. You click the “connect” button, put in the RC credentials, and it just cycles back to where it keeps telling you to connect. We need it to be connected, otherwise none of the activity is logged in the CRM.Spent an hour on the phone with RC support; they gave me the NetSuite phone number and said it was an Oracle developer's issue. Except that Oracle did not create this app. I had this issue with 1 or 2 users when we were setting it up, but it was a role setting (subsidiaries access), that we resolved. I need to forward my texts to someone on call I want the whole office to be able to do this I am on call every other week and the other supervisor is still getting messages sent to them I would like to change it so the texts get forwarded to on call automatically is this possible
