Welcome to CMP - Carmichael!

Dear Families,

We are delighted to welcome you to California Montessori Project - Carmichael, where students are provided a quality, tuition-free, Montessori education that challenges them to reach their full potential. We support this mission, promoting independence, teaching respect for self and others, building confidence, and encouraging responsibility.

Our school offers a unique educational experience for students in transitional kindergarten through eighth grade. In our classrooms, students learn through use of Montessori materials and supplemental curriculum which is integrated in accord with Montessori methodology. Students work on assignments independently or in small groups and are empowered to be responsible and self-motivated as they manage their daily and weekly work.

The Montessori classrooms at CMP are multi-age environments with low student-to-teacher ratios, designed to support the physical, social-emotional, and cognitive development of the child. Our program fosters strong peer relationships, allowing younger students to learn from older mentors while giving older students opportunities to develop leadership skills.
