In just a few weeks, thousands of children in Guilford and Rockingham counties will be heading back to school.  Will they get to hear about Jesus’ love or just agendas that lead to despair?  Working together, we can change a child’s future.  Will you join us?

The CEF Team is praying for you, your family and your church body!  May God’s Word strengthen you and remind you of how much He loves you!  Please keep praying for all the children who are waiting to hear the love of Jesus!

 Our prayer for you and our children is,

“I pray that out of His glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.    And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

Good News Clubs

Good News Club® is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in which trained teachers meet with groups of children in schools, homes, community centers, churches, apartment complexes, just about anywhere the children can easily and safely meet with their parent’s permission. Each week the teacher presents an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials from CEF Press. This action-packed time also includes songs, Scripture memory, a missions story and review games or other activities focused on the lesson’s theme. 5 Day Clubs

5-Day Clubs provide an opportunity to take the gospel into neighborhoods across your community. Backyards are transformed into mission fields as children attend clubs for an hour to and hour and a half each day for five consecutive days. Since children are not in school during the summer, we take the gospel to where they are – in daycare centers, community centers, parks, apartment complexes, neighborhoods, and Vacation Bible Schools throughout the community. It’s a great opportunity for those burdened to reach their neighborhoods for Christ to host a clear and effective presentation of the gospel to area children and families.

Christian Youth in Action (CYIA)

Christian Youth in Action is open to youth 12 years old through college who have a heart for missions and children. CEF trains the Christian youth to share the Gospel and teach Bible lessons, memory verses, review games, true missionary stories and songs. The youth share all this in CEF scheduled 5-Day Clubs and Summer Good News. These clubs are held during the summer months of June and July. Serving as a summer missionary may qualify for the Community Service credit required by some schools. Contact our office if you are interested serving.

Prayer Warrior

When we work, we work. When we pray, God works. Mark 11:24 says, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Without the constant covering of prayer, our efforts will surely be unfruitful. To join our prayer team click here
