I’ve spent more than twenty years deep inside the worlds most people only see from the outside—publishing, media, politics, wellness, spirituality. I’ve launched books that broke the internet, helped shape authors who became household names, and watched people with questionable ethics rise to the top because they had the right story, the right mystique, or the right metrics.

I’ve also watched good work get buried because it wasn’t shiny enough.

After enough time in those rooms, you start to see patterns: who gets elevated, who gets erased, and how much of what we call “culture” is actually marketing with better lighting.

I created this substack because I needed a place to write honestly about all of that—not the PR gloss, not the conference-ready version, but the real dynamics beneath the surface. How influence works. How narratives get shaped. Why certain voices dominate and others disappear. And what it does to us when charisma outruns accountability.

I don’t write on schedule. I write when something is worth dissecting.
