Why subscribe?

Because, let’s face it, you like wine! Maybe you like South African wine. And because I need to start thinking about how to fund my next step in wine studies as a civilian who doesn’t have the benefit of having an employer or family wealth to bankroll my ‘hobby’.

Do I want you to pay? Nope…spend your money on things that make you happy…like wine. Do I want the wine industry to see the benefit of what I do? Absolutely. So will I potentially advertise wine-related things to you? Probably.

Blogging on my website is fine and well. Instagram is great. This newsletter gives you a weekly roundup of my random firings/thoughts of the week. Weekend wine wonderings/wanderings, if you will. Some educational, some opinionated thoughts that nobody asked for, and plenty of funny WTF moments for you to weigh in on (Washington is a state and a capital - wine taught me this last year…you will laugh at me!).
