A little about me:

I am a writer and photographer originally from Calcutta, but I’ve spent over half my life in New York. My first book of fiction, Not Quite a Disaster After All was published in India in 2023 and is due out in the US in September 2025. My first collection of poetry is forthcoming end of 2025.

My proudest achievement however is helping to co-write the screenplay for The Shameless with Bulgarian director, Konstantin Bojanov, which after many years finally made it into production and premiered at Cannes’ Un Certain Regarde in 2024.

I also happen to be a photographer. My first monograph was Photowali Didi (Fallline Press)

I currently live in Paris, working on not writing and a photo series exploring gender, bodies and eroticism in art.
