Photography and stuff

Hi reader,

my name is Birgit Buchart, I am an Austrian-born, Brooklyn-based photographer and writer. I’ve been working on the backend of the film photography industry for about 7 years. With this substack I want to create a space for my personal work and thoughts to live in.

I’d imagine it is mostly film photography-based but I also am open to see where this goes, once I get started. It’s a little bit of an experiment, so let’s see what develops (pun always intended).
