WHAT BASEBALL FAN PERSPECTIVE IS
The initial mission was to write about the entire 2023 MLB season from a fan’s perspective, beginning with Opening Day to the final game of the World Series. I aimed to test myself over those seven months by writing about the sport I love. It was a passion project with a few goals along the way. In the end, those goals were reached and the mission was accomplished.
Now, Baseball Fan Perspective has gained some popularity thanks to the positive support from every single one of my readers out there. Season one was a huge success. At times, it was a grind to write about nearly every game and interesting storyline, from the WBC in March through the end of the World Series on the first day of November 2023.
In the end, I had to determine if the joy of writing about this fantastic sport was worth the effort that I put into it. Thanks to support from both readers and other Substack writers, I decided that it was. My passion for this game will never go away. Rarely are there shortages of good storylines in baseball, whether it be in MLB or from other leagues around the world.
Baseball Fan Perspective is about keeping everyone involved and interested in the game, especially MLB, during both the regular season and the offseason. Think of it as a year-round observation from a fan just like yourself.
