Bienvenue à Nantes ! Welcome to Nantes!
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are delighted to welcome you to the 2025 IEEE International Conference on Multimedia and Expo (ICME 2025). We are thrilled to host you in the beautiful and historic city of Nantes, France – the hometown of Jules Verne and the ancient seat of the Dukes of Brittany.
This is a particularly special occasion, as ICME 2025 marks the first time ICME is held in France. Since its launch in 2000, ICME has been the flagship multimedia conference sponsored by four IEEE societies: Circuits and Systems (CAS), Communications (ComSoc), Computer (CS), and Signal Processing (SPS). It promotes the exchange of the latest advances in multimedia technologies, systems, and applications across these research communities.
This year, ICME has received a groundbreaking record of 3737 submissions, continuing the trend of increasing participation over recent years. In addition to the 1016 accepted papers, ICME features 9 workshops, 6 tutorials, a panel session, and demonstrations.
We are grateful for the strong support of the ICME Steering Committee, our four sponsoring societies, and our industrial partners, whose collaboration makes ICME a truly unique and interdisciplinary conference.
Finally, we extend our warmest congratulations and deepest appreciation to all authors, speakers, reviewers, and volunteers. We look forward to an inspiring and memorable conference together in Nantes!
